The Scope

Construction of a new pedestrian footpaths and base slabs for Synthetic Grass and Rubbertough Softfall layers.

The Problem

Mounds, slopes and non linear pathways with obstructions made it difficult to reinforce with conventional methods.

The Solution

Reoco Forta Ferro Macrosynthetic fibre mixed into the concrete was chosen in lieu of SL82 mesh due to its excellent crack control benefits, ease of construction and finishing requirements. The increased speed of construction meant the project finished ahead of schedule.
